Job Description
Sr. PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to support the IT Academic Technology Department with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions enhancements, integrations, upgrades and support work that is in the backlog.

 

Job Requirement

 

·         Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience

·         8+ years of PeopleSoft technical experience

·         2+ years of Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions

·         Proficient knowledge in the following tools

o   Designer Tools – Application Designer, Peoplecode

o   Data Management Tools - Application Engine, Data Mover, Import manager

o   Reporting Tools – SQR, Crystal Reports, XML Publisher, PS Query

o   Integration Tools – Component Interface, Integration Broker

o   PeopleSoft Security

o   Complete understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture

o   Application and Tool Version – 9.0 + and 8.53 +

·         Expertise with Web Services

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·         Experience in working in scrum/agile methodologies

·         Knowledge of STAT, Oracle Database

  

 

Specific goals for the contract resulting from this RFQ include:

 

·         Support technical development of the PeopleSoft campus solutions application

·         Analyze, design, code, and unit test application solutions from business requirements using defined processes and procedures

·         Provide estimates and timeframes for development work and deliverables

·         Deliver effective solutions on time and adhere to development and quality standards

·         Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

·         Excellent problem solving skills – able to focus both on the big picture and finite details

·         Ability to deliver results in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
