Role              :       Sr. Business Analyst (Property & Casualty)

Location       :       Chicago, IL

Duration      :        6+ Month

Interview     :        Phone / Skype but locals preferred

GC, USC, EAD GC Only

 

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Identify and document business needs
• Participate in all phases of project including initiation, implementation and post implementation
• Should understand data models and relationship between data and processes
• Act as liaison between business units and IT
• Define requirements, document specs, develop timelines
• Analyze and verify standards and accuracy
• Report status and any issues
• Define workflows with Testing Manager to develop & conduct test strategies for QA and UAT plans/cases

Job Requirement

·             5+ years (min) BA experience

·             PM skills (PMP or CAPM a plus)

·             Insurance industry (P&C) experience required **more so on property side (homeowners ins)

·             Knowledge of Duck Creek a huge plus

·             Must be able to manage relationships and projects

·             Strong organizational, analytical and prioritization skills

·             Must be able to communicate with all levels in the organization

·             Effective time management skills – must be able to meet deadlines

·             Strong knowledge of MS Office

·             Agile/Waterfall experience

·             Jira and/or Confluence required
